I am a Winner

At the end of July, beginning of August I won on 2 different occasions. That is definitely not the way the stars line up for me usually. I won at the monthly game of Bingo at Club CK. Then if you remember the Inspiration Board from a couple posts ago, I also won that challenge at Club CK Summer Camp. I just received their package this week. Lots of scrappin goodies. They were very generous. BoBunny camping papers & stickers, different packages of Thickers, camping embellishments, 12x12 paper pad with foil & glitter paper, butterfly embellishments & so much more. I feel very lucky!

Previously, I was talking about adding to my tattoo. I have decided, impatiently to wait until the end of September to do it. I have to keep it out of the sun & just in case we go for a motorcycle ride, I dont want to take the chance of ruining it. I should be done riding by the end of September & Septembers events will be over with. School is starting, we are going to Kiss/Motley Crue concert at Alpine Valley & I am going to Scrapfest at MOA. These 2 events are the highlights of my summer. Unfortunately summer will be pretty much over with.

I did go to a crop last weekend & was able to get 2 layouts done. I worked on some LYB layouts that I am thinking of applying for their cycling team. I decided to wait another month to do this though. The one that I am going to share today is one of my favorites, even though it is a little plain. I did not get much attention on it when I uploaded it in the gallery. I think I like it so much because of the outfit that my son is wearing. He looked so cute in it.
The background paper is  Bazzill Basics Paper. It actually has some shimmer to it. LYB supplies are the striped patterned paper(decorative edge cardstock), canvas Sweet sticker, the star stick pins & the jewel sticker in the center of the rosette. The rosette was made with Tim Holtz rosette die on Paper Studio's School Days paper. I used My Minds Eye twine for the center of the rosette. I got this idea from Devra at Club CK. I kept swirling it in a circle & adding glue as I went. I adhered it to a circle for the center of the rosette. The Cookie Monster sticker is from EK Success Sesame Street 3D stickers. The brown mat is a wood grain looking paper. More twine from My Minds Eye wrapped around the picture. I made the tag from the Cricut Cartridge Joys of the Season. I inked it with Broken China Distress Stain from Ranger. I used a Decorative Brad at the top of the tag from My Minds Eye. The snowflake brad is from Paper Studio. I received the star border that is at the top of the page from a swap at Club CK. Here is a closeup of the rosette.
I will share my other layout sometime in the future.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Happy Scrappin!
