I did not realize that it has been a couple weeks already since I have posted.
For this post, I am going to share 1 of the 2 challenges I did for CK Summer Camp. My layout that I did for the other challenge is part of a 2page layout. I will share both pages on another post when I finish the other page.
This challenge was to make an Inspiration Board with metal incorporated. I already had the board. I had bought it from Creative Memories. I added things to the board that are an inspiration to me in scrapbooking. The second part of the challenge was to make a foil frame.
I used a decorative page from Websters Pages for the background paper. I added the Bridal Shower invite since I am doing the Wedding Album right now. Butterflies & flowers are Prima made & the bling are most inspiration to me. The Scrapfest button on the left & also the Tim Holtz tiny mini album below are also my inspiration. My metal that I incorporated are the round magnets, the mini clothes pins & the heart shaped clip.
I had this magnet on my board already. I added the heart punched border to it. I used MS double heart punch on Rangers Foil Tape Sheets. It took some time to do this because you have to be careful placing the border. The foil tape is very flimsy so my hearts kept bending on me. I also have the sticky side facing towards you so I could just stick it on the back of the magnet.
Hopefully I will have another post up by the end of this week.
Have a good day & Happy Scrappin!

New LOs With New Camera
I was successful in getting my problem solved by the end of the weekend. I could not find a 1GB memory card in any store. I still have not found my memory card adapter either. I think that might have fallen out of my purse.
DBF said it was time to get a new camera anyway. We took a trip out of town not just to look at cameras but also my son wanted to go to a guitar shop. He ended up buying a used electric guitar & amp. We went to a big chain store to look at cameras. We were checking them out & I didnt ask a salesman for any help at first because I had done research. Still being a little confused, I finally asked for help. He was helping us & we walked around to the other side of the display. There was another family looking at cameras & they started asking him questions. He started helping them & then came back to us. After a bit, he went back to them & that was it. They figured out what they wanted & kept talking to him about the camera. I had more questions for him but he seemed to busy to help me anymore. He looked at me & said, I need more people over here. I thought to myself, werent you helping me first? I got mad & walked out of the store.
I came home & I asked the ladies from Club CK what they have & would recommend. The next day, I went to my local stores & checked out their cameras. I decided I wanted to get a Sony if it had the right features that I wanted & I ended up buying a Sony Cybershot. It will take me a little while to get use to all the features & see what works well for me.
Like I said in my previous post, I am starting my cousin's wedding album. My LOs today will be of the gift opening at the Bridal Shower. I did a 2 page LO to start the Bridal Shower pages. The background pages are from Cosmo Cricket. The 8x8 Pink Bridal Shower paper is from a fellow peep at Club CK. She also gave me coordinating stickers to go with the paper. These stickers are the 3D flowers on both pages & the embellishments that say Bridal Shower & Gifts.
I used Glue Dots to make the flowers 3D. EK Success border punch was used on the 8x8 paper & mats for the pictures. I inked the edges of the mats with Pine Needles Distress Ink.
On this page, I used the flower stickers with Glue Dots again. The Bridal Shower & Gift stickers were adhered to some TH fragments with Glossy Accents. The flower piece on the left part of the banner is adhered to a TH fragment & came from MME's Miss Caroline's decorative brads. All the brads are from MME. The Sew Easy Fancy Floss holding the fragment banner together is a Grasshopper Green from WE R Memory Keepers.
This post has gotten to be a bit long. I guess that can make up for not posting LOs for awhile. There will be plenty more to come. Let me know what you think of the picture quality of the LOs. Hope everyone had a Great weekend!

Trendy Tape Birthday Card
I finally played with some of my Trendy Tape. This isnt the first time I have played with designed tape. I have TH tissue tape & have made a couple things with those.
DBF asked me to make his mom a Birthday card on the day of her birthday. I guess he assumed I was going to make one. I didnt do anything special with the tape. I just made a border for the card. I played a little & tried to make flags with match sticks & the tape. Those just didnt go with the card. I am sure I will make a LO to use flags on. I decided to make a summer card since her birthday is in June.
The Happy Birthday stamp is from one of My Pink Stamper sets. The 3d butterfly is a Jolee's boutique sticker. The blue & purple flower are some random flowers I had laying around. The adhesive backed pearls I got in a set with white & blue. The self adhesive rhinestones in the corners are from Creative Imaginations. The purple lace I found at my LSS with the rest of their ribbons on a roll. The butterfly & flower border is in a plain package so I dont know what brand it is. I tend to mix up my packages sometimes. Thats when my mojo is overflowing & I keep creating. Then my desk becomes a mess & I just have to guess what embellishments go in what packages.
Can you believe this is my 2nd post in 1 week? LOL. Once I get going on my projects, I should have more posts up. I just have to get going on those projects tho.

Father's Day Card
I have finally created something! I had posted awhile back that I would make a masculine card eventually. I have finally done it. I did not get time earlier in the month to make a card for my boyfriend. Procrastination, unfortunately, is a part of me. I also have a hard time making masculine projects. I am more of a girly girl when it comes to my scrappin. I know what I like. Pink, purple, butterflies, flowers & bling.
I had this patterned paper with fish on it. I had bought it for my son's album because there are some pictures of him fishing. I have really been into the banners & pennants lately so I decided to try it with the patterned paper. It reminded me of fish hanging on a stringer. I had made 3 different sized banners. I placed them on the card but it just didnt look right to me. I started this last weekend. I would come back to it the next day & the next & so on. I just couldnt come up with any ideas. This is a problem of mine sometimes. Then I was thinking, this is a masculine card so I will look in my stash of TH supplies. At first, I was thinking about starting all over & going with TH metal frames. I was looking through my drawer & found my canvas pieces. Banners & Pennants! Then the stringer idea came but all I had was blue twine & peach twine. That wasnt going to work. I remembered I had saved a piece of regular twine from a 7 gypsies tag. So, I had the top part of the card done but the bottom seemed too bare. I was looking at my fishing stickers & I couldnt figure anything out again. This gets a little annoying at times. I tried stamping a big seashell & some starfish. That just didnt go with the card. Back to the stickers again. I kept going back & forth between 3 different stickers & Finally decided on one. Talking about trying to get the mojo back. After all my blabbering, here is the pic.
The base of the card is white cardstock. I embossed a piece of TH Seasonal Stash paper with a Sizzix embossing folder & my Texture Boutique. I then, inked parts of the embossed paper with Walnut Stain distress ink. The fish patterned paper is from American Crafts. The canvas pennant is a canvas mini from Canvas Corp. I inked the canvas piece with metallic Gold paint Dabber from Ranger. I added white foam thickers to create DAD. I inked the A with Black Soot distress ink. The picnic basket & thermos sticker is a Great Outdoors collection from American Traditonal Designs.
I hope this gets my mojo flowing again. I have too many projects to do right now. I need to get a move on.
I hope all the dads out there have a Happy Father's Day & Happy Scrappin!

Scrappin Sisters Blog
I have just started blogging at the beginning of the year but have known Erin & Kelly(Scrappin Sisters) from Club CK, just a couple months before that. Both of them are really talented in all their projects they create. I love following their blog. Due to conflicts with all the different challenges & design teams they both create for, they have decided to have their own blogs. Kelly is keeping the Scrappin Sisters blog & Erin has made her own blog called My Scrap Cabin. Please visit them & show your support.

Where Did My Mojo Go
I just wanted to post a little something since I havent blogged, what seems forever. It was last month since I have shared anything. I admit, I have not been scrappin lately. I need to find my mojo. I keep thinking every day, I am going to clean off my desk & get something done. Nope. Not yet.
I have been shopping a bit lately tho. I keep telling myself, I have to start creating more & do less buying. Then there are those surprise sales from the LSS. Which there were 2 in the last week. At the first LSS, she had 25% off embellishments. I found Trendy Tape by Queen & Co. She had all different kinds. I ended up buying 5 packages. The second LSS's special was to buy a tote bag with their logo on it for $3. Then you could pick out 4 items of your choice & received 25% off. Then every month they will have totebag specials. That should be interesting to see what they come up with. I went to pick up more cardstock to make my DBF a Birthday card & then never made the card. As always, I procrastinated & he wanted me to go to the races so it never got done. I will have to make sure I make a Father's Day Card & will share it. I should start on that right away since I have a hard time making masculine cards.
If you havent noticed on the sidebar, I have finally joined Pinterest. I kept thinking that I do not need anything else to keep me on the computer. I always find myself always looking & finding inspiration from everyone else on the computer but I dont do anything with it. That will have to change & hopefully soon. So, I gave in & joined.
Hope you have a Great week!
